I have been working on my Daily band practice for almost three months now. Three months of working on the unfinished projects, which were just put away in a basket. I still enjoy it and I haven’t skipped one single day (no Theo, I’m not kidding). And I never thought that the Daily band would bring me into contact with so many people! For example ….. When I forgot to post the daily, I got a message “didn’t you weave yesterday?” (oops, they are actually following me!); I’m also helping a Turkish weaver remotely (long live Google Translate) and Theo Rooden invited me to come to his studio, all because of my Instagram posts.
But weaving unfinished bands also brings back some memories. Today I found three warps I made for my first weaving classes. While weaving one of them, I thought about my own development. About how I started a few years ago and where I am right now. With a whole series of workshops that I have given, with an online academy and with lots of nice weaving contacts. I am very curious what the future will bring!
